Gratitude Diary Day 6: Supporting Characters

Image
It will take me some time to digest what I have watched today. One of them is a film and the other is a Japanese drama. They are very different in almost every aspect but both interesting. Shall review them when I am ready.  But the daily gratitude diary should go on.  Day 6: Has it been six days already? Today I am feeling grateful to all the people that have played a part in my life so far. I mean the "supporting roles" that don't usually get much attention when one goes down memory lane. And yet, the story would be incomplete without them. In a way, aren't we all simultaneously supporting characters in each other's lives? I hope to play my parts in others' lives as well as I can.  #GratitudeChallenge #GratitudeDiary ********* Monday.com  is a powerful and versatile platform that can help you work smarter and improve productivity. Gratitude Diary Day 5: Stiff Neck

Image
Somehow managed to pull my back muscle today trying to open a jar of very tightly sealed honey for breakfast. Now I can only look straight ahead and can't agree nor disagree with anything that's said to me. Kind of glad that I will only be having zoom meetings and don't need to travel to the office anytime soon.   Day5: I am grateful for all the resources that are available and easily accessible  online these days, including rehab exercises that are very helpful indeed. And also for the reminder of how great it is to be pain free and healthy, which is often taken for granted.  #GratitudeDiary #GratitudeChallenge ********* Monday.com  is a powerful and versatile platform that can help you work smarter and improve productivity. Gratitude Diary Day 4: Spring

Image
The warmth of the gentle breeze glides through the city streets and narrow lanes, tickling everything in its path. I could feel its caress on my cheeks as I trudged up the slope with my shopping from the supermarket. The sweet melody of birdsong fills the air, signaling the arrival of Spring's characteristic annual soundtrack. Gratitude Diary Day 4:  Today's beautiful weather fills me with gratitude. I eagerly anticipate the day when I can once again bask in the sunshine while chatting with friends about all sorts of random things in a park.  #GratitudeDiary #GratitudeChallenge ********* Do you use wifi in public places or travel abroad often? Gratitude Diary Day 3: A friendly message

Image
It was quite unexpected to wake up this morning and be welcomed by a text message from a friend that I have not spoken to for a while. Just a simple message saying that I am in their thoughts at this difficult time. We should all send more messages like that to each other. It makes a world of difference to the person receiving it. I got on with my day with a smile. Let this be a reminder of what I can do for others, even just a simple friendly message from time to time. Day 3: I am grateful to all the people, friends, family, acquaintances that had ever wished me well in one form or another. I wish the same for them in return.  #GratitudeDiary #GratitudeChallenge  ********* Monday.com  is a powerful and versatile platform that can help you work smarter and improve productivity. Gratitude Diary Day 2: A place to be

Image
I enjoy listening to the sound of rain drops tapping on the window and roofs as the streets gets a clean makeover. Might just as well, it rains rather frequently here. For Day 2: I am grateful for a roof over my head, a small place to come back to that I can call my home. #GratitudeChallenge #GratitudeDiary ********* Do you use wifi in public places or travel abroad often? Gratitude Diary Day 1: An interesting challenge

Image
Came across a great online initiative that challenges people to share something that they feel grateful about each day.  I probably didn't pay it much attention when it was trending on social media. This might help, I thought. After almost a whole year in lockdown, though it has been quite productive work-wise, one starts to feel a bit too "unplugged" from the real world that we used to know among this (now not so new) daily working-from-home routine.  Hopefully this will help me to appreciate the colour of everyday life. Even if it's just the 60 shades of timber of my living room. Day1: Today I am grateful to the internet #Youtube #Instagram for the discovery of this great initiative. I feel lighter already just typing this. Thank you world.  #GratitudeChallenge #GratitudeDiary ********* Do you use wifi in public places or travel abroad often? Do you worry about cyber security?
