3 Common Beginner Workout Mistakes

Continuing with my research on the topic of muscle building and exercise, here is another great video for beginners from Mike Chang. According to him, there are the 3 common mistakes that beginners usually make.  Workout for too long (should not do more than 30 minutes to 1 hour). Using only isolation movements (machines meant for shaping definition) instead of doing compound exercises. Blindly copying others' routines rather than focusing on what you really need. I have to confess I have actually made all 3 mistakes! :( Well, that is why we need to learn about the subject.

I went to the book shop today and found a new book by Paulo Coelho called Adultery that looked quite interesting. His way of writing really appeals to me, mainly because he shows that simple, uncomplicated language can tell the most captivating stories. This simple style is perhaps most suited to his stories which often carry deeper life meanings of some sort. It allows the reader to conserve mental stamina and capacity in order to contemplate the meanings behind the stories as they unfold. Although that is not the reason I started this post. After reading the first few pages of the book, I wanted to get it on my Kindle. I asked the shop assistant at Waterstones whether it is possible to buy ebooks which will work on Kindle e-readers. To my dismay, I had my suspicions confirmed - you can only get Kindle books from Amazon :( Personally, I prefer to retain the freedom as a consumer to support the traditional book shops once in a while. If you are doing weight training and trying to get into shape then getting to know your hormones may be more important than previously thought. It is rather surprising that people don't usually consider them as much.  I came across this video giving tips on how to naturally boost your testosterone and growth hormone?? How to Sync Phone Contacts to Google Gmail

I have done this several times before but kept forgetting, better write it down this time. These are the instructions I found: Make sure that you are linked to a Google account on your device. Go to Settings, then go to Accounts/Google. Select your Gmail account from the e-mail accounts setup . Tap on the ‘Sync Contacts’ option. Press ‘Sync now’ button and wait until all the phone contacts have been successfully synchronized with your gmail account. Now open Gmail in your computer’s web browser and click the Gmail text link that is listed on the upper left side of the Gmail profile. Select Contacts and then you should see a page where all the contacts from your Android phone have been stored. There are also handy features such as transferring SIM card contacts to your Google account (usually in the Import/Export section of your phone contact options). This doesn't sound good, although it is hardly surprising that there may be ways of accessing personal information from these devices. Still, most consumers will probably not like this additional feature on their phones.

Understanding Empathy

I wonder why this wasn't taught at school, because it's such an important skill and yet very few possess this ability or know what it is exactly. How to show support and be empathetic towards someone that is going through a difficult time? Next time, try to be supportive in the right way or you may be causing more harm than good and not realising it.
