Samsung S7 not recognised by computer

Image
For some reason my phone would not connect to one particular laptop but would connect without any issues to other computers. If you have the same problem then try the steps below to see if it works for you as well. 1. First I tried to install the USB driver on the computer. You can download the driver here: https://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows Still did not connect. 2. Tried to install SmartSwitch which is a Samsung software for managing and transferring files from your phone. You can download this from here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch Still nothing happened. 3. Restart the computer . This is a very important step. You should get a message whether you want to allow the PC to access your phone once you rebooted the computer. Hope this works for you as well. If this didn't work, check some of these additional settings:

The Power of Technology: How Tokyo 2020 Redefined the Olympic Experience

Image
The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo was not only a showcase of athletic prowess, but also a testament to the power of technology. With the COVID-19 pandemic still raging across the world, technology enabled the games to continue whilst ensuring safety and social distancing. One of the most significant technological advancements was the use of 5G networks, which provided a faster and more reliable connection for athletes, coaches, and officials. This allowed real-time data analysis, remote coaching, and video streaming, making sure that everyone involved could stay updated and connected despite the physical distance. With spectators limited, Augmented Reality (AR) graphics were used during televised events to display athlete data such as speed and distance in real-time. The incorporation of Virtual Reality (VR) training tools also assisted athletes in simulating competition situations and enhancing their performance. AI-powered robots were also deployed across different venues to perform various

Game review: thoughts on PS4 Marvel's Spider-man

Image
The Marvel franchise has regained a lot of attention in mainstream entertainment in the past decade or so, thanks to a series of very successful films. The latest, and one of the most anticipated games in 2018 that has recently been released is the PlayStation 4 Spider-man. Fans around the world would be glad to know that the game is definitely worth the wait, and would be surprised to find out how quickly time seems to fly by whilst you explore the virtual New York City as Spider-man. Some of the game mechanics and design are similar to and remind me of another popular game -  Batman: Arkham Knight . The fighting style of Spider-man is obviously quite different to Batman and all the swinging and dodging can take some time to get used to (personally I prefer Batman's fighting style but it is refreshing to get the Spider-man experience). Swinging in-between skyscrapers is just as fun if not more  exhilarating than flying. The Spider-man suit and combat skills are highly  customisabl

The Netherlands as the world's second biggest food exporter

Image
I recently stumbled upon an intriguing economic story that I found rather unexpected. Apparently, the Netherlands, despite being a relatively small country, has managed to become the second largest food exporter in the world. I must say, it's a remarkable feat and a testament to their hard work and dedication. This piece of news got me thinking that perhaps the UK, with its similar climate, could take a page from our neighbor's book and potentially thrive in this industry as well. It's definitely worth considering and exploring further. Are you curious about all the hype about AI? Brazil's Sustainable Biofuel Economy: A Remarkable Achievement

Image
Brazil stands out as the world's first sustainable biofuels economy and the leader in the biofuel industry. This remarkable achievement is partly thanks to favorable circumstances, yet it is still an impressive feat. It's surprising that this isn't common knowledge. Did you know that over 50% of all cars fuels used in Brazil are produced from sugarcane-derived bio-ethanol? Although this biofuel economy may not be globally scalable, it serves as an excellent example of how new industries and technologies can emerge out of necessity when markets are shielded from direct overseas competition. In this case, imported fuel is too expensive for the Brazilian market. For those interested in learning more about the technology behind Brazil's biofuel industry, the BBC documentary "The World in 2050" is an excellent resource. It offers insight into the innovative technologies that have made Brazil a leader in the field. Recommended Book Are you curious about all the hype

Recipe to try this week: Slow cooker vegetable lasagne

Image
I've been trying to make the most of my slow-cooker lately, both for convenience and to save on energy costs. I decided to branch out and experiment with some dishes that I would normally only make in the oven, and stumbled upon this fantastic vegetarian lasagne recipe. At first, I was a bit skeptical since the preparation and ingredients differed quite a bit from a traditional lasagne, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it turned out. Click on the image to go to the recipe. Review:  I have to say, the flavour was delightful and it was incredibly easy to cook. However, the downside was the presentation. If you were hoping for a perfectly set lasagne, you may be disappointed with the messiness of this dish. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a quick and healthy comfort food option for yourself and your family, this recipe is worth a try. One thing to be mindful of is achieving the right consistency. It can be tricky to get it just right, as adding too many vegetab
