I wonder why this wasn't taught at school, because it's such an important skill and yet very few possess this ability or know what it is exactly. How to show support and be empathetic towards someone that is going through a difficult time? Next time, try to be supportive in the right way or you may be causing more harm than good and not realising it.

This is a very funny talk. It was like listening to stand up comedy instead of a lecture. The underlying message is a very powerful one though. Among other things, it talks about the importance of positivity in our happiness level and which in turn affects our performance at work. Help to spread happiness by sharing this short video. I am starting to think that I can spend all day reporting those seemingly crazy magic stunts. Those are too cool to miss. It confirms the theory that "certain personality types" are more likely to be drawn towards magic than others, as they have a greater urge to impress people. Is this what it takes to incubate a successful magician? Would they still have the same driving force to keep practicing day and night if they were popular kids? This is not a post about daring to dream or think of the absurd in order to drive innovative breakthroughs. This really is simply admiring what would be described as "impossible" in the usual sense. Here is something to think about. How many of you think that we are ultimately responsible for our own actions, regardless of how we are influenced by others or our environment, because we are the ones that ultimately made the decision to perform the act? What percentage of our law-abiding general public do you think, on average, could be persuaded to deliver a lethal, life-threatening electric shock to an innocent stranger? 1%, 5%? Welcome to Milgram's obedience experiment. Shockingly, more than 60% of those that took part were persuaded to deliver electric shocks of increasing strength to a screaming stranger (in the name of a memory test), and even go as far as delivering the final fatal voltage, in which case the screaming subject went silent. The screaming subject is fake, of course, but those that took part did not know this until the very end. Now, are those supposedly "murderers" guilty for their crimes? It is a shocking revelation into the "weakness" of...
