How To Upgrade To Nioh 2 Remastered For Free On The PS5

Before I purchased my PS5, I did my research and found that many of my PS4 games were eligible for free upgrades to the PS5 version. There is a table showing the eligible games here. 

As many readers know, Nioh is one of those games that I play regularly (even though I am not very good at it) and is a must-have for me on my PlayStation.

However, after installing the PS4 version of Nioh 2 on the new PS5, it was not clear how to get the free upgrade. The screen indicated that purchasing the PS5 version of the game would cost £49.99.

I eventually found a solution on Reddit, posted by Rosienenbrot. However, the steps have changed slightly since that solution was posted online. Here are the updated steps to upgrade your existing PS4 version of Nioh 2 to the PS5 Remastered version for free:
  1. Install your PS4 Nioh 2 on your new PS5.
  2. After the installation, hover over the game and you will see an invitation on the right to purchase the PS5 version, as shown in the figure above.
  3. Click on it, but on the purchase page, click on the three dots (...) next to the Wishlist instead.
  4. You will see an option to upgrade the game to the PS5 Remastered version. On that page, the cost is shown as Free!

Hopefully, this will help some of you Nioh fans out there so you don't have to spend a lot of time searching for a solution like I did.

How to Fix PS5 Pro Lag/Stutter Issue

After a recent patch update, my PS5 started acting strangely, with increasingly noticeable lag issues while editing videos in Share Factory. What can be done about Food Waste?

This BBC business report shows some staggering statistics of how much food is being wasted globally. And apart from household waste, a lot of food actually never made it to our fridge. It is encouraging to see individual farmers partnering with local charities or businesses to make use of perfectly edible produce which were excluded by supermarkets due to less than perfect appearances. Charities and environmental agencies should actively pursue this type of win-win ideas. It is a brilliant policy (although it could take sometime for restaurants to get used to) to require New York City's restaurants stop sending food waste to landfills in 2015 and encourage the use of alternative operations. However, I do hope that restaurant businesses are not financially worse off because of these new requirements.
