Google Now VS. Apple Siri

This is a rather interesting experiment. Personally I don't think I use the voice recognition function of my phone frequently enough. It’s amazing to see how the different technologies are now really coming together, from processor speed, voice recognition to Big data analytics and correlation technologies for finding the most appropriate answer to the most random questions we can think of. This quick comparison shed some insight into the technologies behind the two biggest players in the market, especially the background search algorithms. You can already see that they are good at different things and there are cases where one is significantly faster than the other. With the amount of data that Google is collecting, I have the feeling that it’s search results will become increasingly accurate (and faster) as we continue to teach it how to answer our questions. Enjoy the short video clip!
