Embedding Flickr Photo Slideshow in your Blog

Embedding a photo slideshow with Flickr is easy. First you need to register for a Flickr account.

At the sign-up page, Flickr also offer you the option of registering using your google or facebook account. This speeds up the registration process, and you can be up and sharing photos in no time.

Once registered, you can start uploading photos onto Flickr.

The interface is very easy to use and the process is more or less self-explanatory. You can upload multiple photos and videos at the same time.
Once you have uploaded your photos, you can see all your photos in your Photostream.

On this page, there is a slideshow option, which let you view all the photos as a slideshow. Click on the icoon to activate the slideshow.
At the top right corner, you will see some options, incliuding a share function. This let you generate the html code that you need to embed the slideshow to your website.

When you have more photos, it may be a good idea to start organising them into sets..etc. Each set can be viewed separatedly in your Photostream and hence you can generate slideshows involving only one particular set.

Flickr offers 300MB of space free of charge. For heavier users, you can sign-up for a 3 months, 1 year or a 2 years membership. For more information, visit Flickr.
